This is a hands-on role where you will be required to work on various tasks that involve heavy lifting.    

About the role:

  • Compounding of medicines in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Machine cleaning and basic troubleshooting
  • Completion of documentation to a high standard
  • Inventory management and reconciliation of batch method records
  • Raw materials picking, weighing, dispensing, compounding and filler operation on a rotation basis.
  • Batch preparation for Sterile and Non-Sterile
  • Recommend improvements for safety, quality and efficiency
  • Other duties as required by the team including involvement in projects

About you:

  • 12 months+ experience in a similar role
  • Basic understanding of the theory and practice of compounding or pharmacy practice
  • A background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, FMCG or the health industry
  • Experience with GMP is a must
  • Ability to work both in a team and autonomously
  • An aptitude to learn new skills and tasks
  • A safety-first focus to call out all safety issues and hazards is a must
  • Ability to think on your feet and a positive can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • A high reach forklift license would be an advantage

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for leading a team of 3 key area supervisors and troubleshooting day to day operational issues.  You will manage the manufacturing activities to achieve the most effective outcome in support of the business objectives whilst being accountable for cost-effective operations, under strict compliance with safety, GMP and quality requirements.  The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that considers current workplace, health and safety requirements.

About the role:

  • Role model and drive a safety 24/7 culture
  • Ensure cGMP procedures are always followed
  • Provide Technical assistance and support to production staff
  • Identify and implement continuous process improvements
  • Managing labour efficiency – Drive and manage production scheduling and capacity planning, and monitor, assess and improve production
  • Monitor, assess and improve productivity
  • Ensuring consistent high standards of product quality
  • Develop strong working relationships within all areas of the business as this role will work closely with different stakeholders at various levels of the business
  • Report to the Management Team about production matters, conduct investigations and looks for ways to address any findings
  • Cross train team members and drive a high-performance culture through training, coaching and mentoring
  • Ensure effective communication is maintained with the team and promote an open and inclusive work environment with two-way communication
  • Be the designated Safety Officer for Production and handle incident investigations, safety walks, risk assessments, run toolbox talks and foster a we see it, we say it safety culture.

About you:

  • 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations management (ideally in the Pharmaceutical Industry or similar)
  • Strong understanding of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Quality, cGMP and Safety Standards are a must
  • 5+ years’ experience managing a team of at least 30 or more
  • Ability to measure and drive KPI’s and process improvements
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with the entire business is a must
  • Strong knowledge of production and capacity planning
  • Experience in team engagement, cultural change and process improvement
  • Drive safety, quality and productivity through effective leadership and guidance of direct reports
  • Experience with root cause analysis and LEAN tools

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Sterile Operator to join our Sterile Product Manufacturing Team. This is a hands-on role where you will be required to be involved in all parts of sterile manufacturing, compounding, machine operation, filling and cleaning.

Key responsibilities

  • Receiving the dispensed raw materials/packing material and prepare them to ensure they are suitable for usage.
  • Identify and document the raw materials according to the Bill of Materials.
  • Execution of compounding according to the SOP.
  • Preparation of samples and documents for QC approval to proceed further with filling/bagging.
  • Vial washing, autoclaving, and setting up other sterile equipment.
  • Filling the vials according to SOP and product specifications.
  • Monitoring the environment while filling for viable and non-viable particles.
  • Document fulfilment for QA approval.
  • End of day cleaning.

Skills and experience

  • Experience as an operator or technician in the pharmaceutical industry with aseptic sterile manufacturing processes.
  • A technical aptitude with some machine setting and basic changeover experience.
  • Experience with filling under sterile conditions.
  • A good understanding of GMP principles and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOP’s.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work well in a team as well as take accountability for your own work.
  • Previous experience working Vial washing, Autoclaving and preparation of components for specific sterilisations.
  • A self-starter with a high level of motivation to deliver high quality work.
  • LEAN Manufacturing experience would be highly beneficial.

To support our continued expansion in farm animal products, we are looking for a totally customer centric team member to join the Customer Experience team. As a customer experience officer, you will be responsible for building customer relationships within our farm animal business and providing a high level of customer support to our rural customers in an efficient and timely manner.

The successful candidate will establish effective working relationships with rural resellers, wholesalers, veterinary practices and liaise with farmers to promote the sale of products. The role requires an individual who can proactively communicate with customers on a regular basis about order issues, delays, and status reports.  This is a busy role that requires an individual who can juggle multiple priorities, can manage conflicting deadlines and loves being busy.

About the role

  • Ensure all customer emails and calls are answered within the set KPI’s
  • Ensure all customer queries are actioned in a timely manner
  • Smooth end to end order entry to distribution process with complex requirements
  • Ensure daily accurate invoicing and reporting
  • Receive and manage customer complaints to resolution within the set KPI’s
  • Proactively manage customer orders through promotional periods
  • Troubleshoot any courier issues and track and trace deliveries
  • Proactively keep the customer informed at all times – via phone and email

  • While the role is focused on supporting our farm animal business, it will involve cross training in our companion animal, New Zealand, and Export customer experience roles as well

What we are looking for

  • A minimum of 3 years Customer Service experience in an agriculturally based role
  • A background in ag science or rural business will be highly regarded
  • Ability to engage an audience and deliver a high level of customer service
  • Ability to problem solve, keep people informed and maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders and farmers
  • Strong communications skills (high level of written and spoken English)
  • Outstanding attention to detail (data accuracy is critical in this role)
  • Intermediate Excel skills to generate reports and manipulate data
  • Ability multi-task and juggle conflicting priorities
  • Ability to work under pressure while juggling multiple customer needs
  • A highly organised individual with a can-do attitude
  • Must be proactive, friendly and a strong team player
  • A passion for delivering a high level of service no matter what you are doing
  • Order entry or sales processing experience would be highly desirable
  • SAP B1 experience desired but not essential

We are currently running a large label update project and as such are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Associate with experience in label/artwork review and approval to join the team and work with the Marketing department and graphic designers to ensure that this project is completed on time and to a high standard.  This is a 12-18 month fixed term contract and flexible working arrangement including part-time hours will be considered.

About the role

  • Supporting the Regulatory Affairs and Marketing teams with overall project management
  • Understanding and interpreting the Veterinary labelling code and other relevant APVMA requirements
  • Reviewing and marking up labels, cartons, leaflets as per the scope of the project
  • Reviewing and proofreading product packaging prior to approval
  • Preparation and submission of applications to APVMA as required for label updates
  • Ability to collaborate, communicate and work closely with several key stakeholders in the business
  • Attending weekly meetings and updating all stakeholders as required
  • Following standard procedures and processes with good record keeping

About you

  • A background in Regulatory Affairs, Marketing or Graphic Design
  • Experience in the Veterinary Pharmaceutical industry
  • Previous experience with artwork approval and compliance would be highly regarded
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm, passion and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • A strong problem-solver with outstanding time management skills
  • Confident to tackle challenges and take ownership
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships
